Welcome. My name is Matt Hodgetts, and I am a Ph.D Candidate in Political Science at Brown University. I am an Ontarian, growing up in Kingston, Ontario. I lived for a time in Bosnia and Austria, before returning to Kingston to do my undergraduate at Queen’s University in Philosophy and Political Studies. I then went to Montreal to get a Masters from McGill University in Political Science. For most of this time, I also worked as a Research Assistant for the local public health agency in Kingston, Ontario, spending much of my time writing about wind turbines. In my spare time I can be found climbing up mountains or skiing down them, depending on the season.
